The Gillespie House is a historic 2-storey home. The character of the original house has been kept intact with new extensions added in the late 1990's and in 2013.
The main floor offers a large bright glassed front room, adorned with several windows overlooking the majestic Harbour view. The front room was recently redecorated and refurnished to offer a comfortable lounging, entertainment and dining area. Web-based programming can be enjoyed from a large screen TV.
A selection of board and card games are available for your entertainment. These areas have been decorated with local crafts that are available for purchase. A separate main floor room, also boasting a bright view, is set up as a sitting room and reading nook. A fully equipped kitchen has everything you will require to prepare and serve meals. Basic ingredients and a selection of coffee and teas are kept on hand. On the main floor, you will also find a half bathroom and laundry area.
A large sundeck with lounge chairs and barbeque equipment overlooks the Harbour. Our private dock and boat launch is also available for your use should you plan on boating or fishing.
The second floor offers 3 comfortable bedrooms and 3 washrooms. Our rooms are named after family names of Fortune Harbour.
